We would love to have you join us in celebrating our wedding at Dreams Playa Mujeres All Inclusive Resort in Mexico!
Come enjoy a great all-inclusive resort experience where all your meals, and alcohol are included with your stay while you celebrate our wedding with us.
To take care of all your travel plans, we have been working closely with a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings, Avora Destinations. With their help, we have reserved a block of rooms with special group rates at the resort. We ask that you book your stay directly from this site.
In order to take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guest must have their reservations for the hotel made by October 28, 2024 and paid in full by November 8, 2024. If you make your reservation early, all that is needed is a deposit of $100 per room unless you opt for insurance, then your deposit is the amount of the elected policy.
We are currently holding rooms from March 22-29, 2025; however, you may book any dates you wish through this website (if we are not holding the room, our travel agent will request it be added to our group). Please note: there is a 3-night minimum stay required by the resort.

Check-in Policy:
Check-in begins at 3pm. Guests arriving earlier than 3 pm are welcome to use the resort immediately upon arrival even if their room is not ready. The hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Check-out is 11am.

Hotel Tips
- Attire - Long pants and/or collared shirts, as well as closed toes shoes, may be required at certain restaurants for men. Elegant resort attire may be required in certain restaurants for women, too.
- Tipping - Although your stay is all-inclusive, tips are greatly appreciated in any service industry. I suggest visiting a bank before your departure and asking for a number of singles to bring along with you for tips for various people at the resort, drivers, etc. If you are in a bind and don't have any singles, always ask a bellman as they usually have plenty. If not, the front desk can give you change. Feel free to bring and use American dollars – there is no need to exchange them.
- Wi-fi - The resort offers free wi-fi service. Although most services are a bit slower than what we may be used to here in the States, they are generally sufficient enough to check email and/or social media regularly.

Water - We do not advise drinking tap water anywhere in the Caribbean. The porous land in the islands makes the tap water suitable for bathing, but not drinkable. All resorts supply bottled water in all rooms and refill daily. Additionally, the water used to wash vegetables, in ice, and served in restaurants is filtered water safe to drink.
- Solo Travelers - Some guests are leaving their spouses behind with the kiddos and/or traveling solo. If you are in need of an awesome roommate, let me know.
Travel Tips
- Passport - Every person traveling will need a valid passport book. If you do not have a passport book, you should apply for one ASAP as the process can take months. Find more info here: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/apply.html. Also, check the expiration date on your passport book. The airline can deny you boarding if your passport expires within 6 months AFTER travel. Do not risk it, renew if you are due!

Airfare - Most airlines release flight schedules about 11 months in advance; however, Southwest will release its flights about 7 months in advance. We plan to fly with Southwest Airlines; direct flights are usually on Saturdays from PGH with both Southwest and American Airlines.
- Customs & Immigration - Download the mobile passport control (MPC) app ahead of time and fill in the information upon landing back in the states to skip long custom lines.
