and we would love to have you join us in celebrating our wedding at El Dorado Royale in Mexico!
Come enjoy a great adults only all inclusive resort experience where all your meals and alcohol are included with your stay while you celebrate our wedding with us. While we love your children, the wedding ceremony and events are for adults 18+ only.
To take care of your travel plans, we are working closely with a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings, Avora Destinations. With their help, we have reserved a block of rooms with special group rates at the resort.
We ask that you book your stay directly from this site, as guests that book outside the group may incur additional fees to attend the wedding events. In order to take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guests must have their reservations for the hotel made by December 1, 2023 and paid in full by January 1, 2024. If you make your reservation early, all that is needed is a deposit of $100 per room or the cost of travel protection, if elected.
We are currently holding rooms from April 11-16, 2024; however, you may book any dates you wish through this website (if we are not holding the room, our travel agent will request it be added to our group). Note, there is a 3-night minimum stay required by the resort. All guests must be staying at the resort in order to attend the wedding.

Travel Tips

Attire - Long pants and/or collared shirts, as well as closed toes shoes, may be required at certain restaurants for men. Elegant resort attire may be required in certain restaurants for women, too.
- Tipping - Although your stay is all-inclusive, tips are greatly appreciated in any service industry. I suggest visiting a bank before your departure and asking for a number of singles to bring along with you for tips for various people at the resort, drivers, etc. If you are in a bind and don't have any singles, always ask a bellman as they usually have plenty. If not, the front desk can give you change. Feel free to bring and use American dollars – there is no need to exchange them.
- Wi-fi - Most resorts offer free wi-fi service to their guests as well. Although most services are a bit slower than what we may be used to here in the States, they are generally sufficient enough to check email and/or social media regularly.

Water - We do not advise drinking tap water anywhere in the Caribbean. The porous land in the islands makes the tap water suitable for bathing, but not drinkable. All resorts supply bottled water in all rooms and refill daily. Additionally, the water used to wash vegetables, in ice, and served in restaurants is filtered water safe to drink.

Check-in Policy:
Check-in begins at 3pm Guests arriving earlier than 3 pm are welcome to use the resort immediately upon arrival even if their room is not ready. The hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Check-out is 11am.
